Mwilli Nguvu: Bodily Strength

I have often wondered how the heroes called Herus of legend trained and thought to develop the mind boggling strength to lift such enormous weight and perform such incredible feats of strength to warrant the stories that make up the worlds religions and myths. Men like Shaka Zulu, Miyammoto Musashi, Alexander the Great, Vlad Dracul, Black Hawk, General Hannibal, The Mahdi, The Maharathi, Bahubali, Xango, Yasuke the Black Samurai, and Set not to mention the legends of shamans and mystics who lived well into their 100s some over 800 to 1000 years stalwart and strong. These men are so far ahead of us ordinary people in physical strength, appearance and mental/emotional fortitude as to appear as gods and demons. It is hard to believe that we could posses even half their abilities without the use of pharmaceutical enhancement and many professional athletes and soldiers in modern times have used them in a poor imitation of these powerful men.

In my search I have found some pretty interesting facts and beliefs. Strength in anything is basically the same, so when you read this don’t think it is just applicable to physical prowess.

Strength is cultivated by humility and is the root of power in all things once velocity can be cultivated and velocity can only be cultivated after strength. In physics power is work rate and the product of force and velocity. It is expressed as follows.

Velocity = speed

Strength = force

Power = force + velocity

Forget any negative garbage about force being evil it is intent that makes force evil not the application of force. Strength is the capacity to do something, to act. Power is the ability to do something quickly and effectively. Strength gives you the ability to exert great force and involves will power, neurological and emotional integration and is regulated by the nutritive state of the body. There is no speed or endurance involved in strength. Once you have laid the foundation of developing maximum force capacity designated as strength you can than begin to cultivate speed which leads to power or the ability to release great explosive energy in a quick maximum effort. Force + velocity.

Now here is where most of us go wrong. We lack humility and patience. We don’t see where our strengths and weaknesses are and we rush into velocity. You have to frist learn to apply slow force and get really good at it to the point it becomes a habit. When you first learn something you cannot just apply that knowledge with any kind of effectiveness. The idea that knowledge is power is total bullshit and will have you with your nose in a book forever accomplishing nothing. Wisdom or applied knowledge is power. Knowledge is just something learned, you need to use it many times which is experience or wisdom to be effective. Take your time, we fail because we want things quicker than they can come. In developing experience it is essential we give ourselves space to develop. We don’t need to be over the top with our skill, speed and environment out the gate as that will develop over time, so set yourself some reasonable expectations and never judge your own work and progress, others will do that for you. This will help you learn what you are really capable of. Set low bars as your standard, achieve it. Then set the bar just a little bit higher and achieve this. Now do it again. This will develop confidence and in strength training is called progressive weight training and you can do this with your spiritual development as well. If you choose not to follow my advice that is fine but you may find yourself over your head real fast facing challenges you have no business facing.

AFURAKA

AFURAKA

By Jeán-Micheal Holmes

You, with a core of fire,

Ethos of exploding matter.

A base of Black Earth,

from the ocean floor.

All want to cleave to your bosom.

Love unbound for your timeless jewels.

The soul of the Abosom,

The loving mother of good and evil.

The drums are for you,

The dancing is yours.

Across your flesh, the rise and fall.

Generations owe their breath.

The house of the Creator and,

Creatress.

For you, i fashion this sword,

For you, i become the Warrior God,

The stone that stirs my heart,

The sable Goddess,

The dusky God.

Our destiny.

Herb Secrets:

For physical and mental strength development your natural food intake should be supplemented with food concentrates such as protein (before and after training), vitamin and mineral tablets and liver concentrates. The reason being is these do not  tax the digestive organs and are easy for the body move into the cells. There is a time you will have adjust to taking them but it is nothing to worry about and all truly strong men take them.

Here is a recipe worth taking into strong consideration as I have used something similar as a laborer in a warehouse and still had energy to lift heavy weights 3 days a week after work.

1 oz. desiccated Argentine beef liver powder

1 scoop creatine

teaspoon of Cheyenne pepper tincture

1/2 teaspoon of lobelia tincture

teaspoon black seed oil

2g BCAA powder

Tablespoon raw honey

8 oz grape juice or water if sugar is a concern

Take this before and after each workout.
